Hello, my name is Kyle Brady and I am the owner of Lasting Legacy Studio.  Since this is my bio, I guess I have to tell you who I am.  Well, I'm a self proclaimed technology geek.  I love all things digital and that includes digital photography.  No film!  I love creating works of art and beauty.  Considering my previous work experience, this may seem a bit strange.  Read more to see what I mean.

After graduating from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, I worked for Motoroal for a whole year doing keypad testing on cellphones.  Despite the excitement entailed in that job, I decided that there must be something a little bit more adventurous to do for a living.  So I walked into the Navy recruiter and declared that I wanted to fly fighter planes.  Well, after a few tests, a lot of pushups, many nervewracking study sessions and some very scary night carrier landings, I finally earned my "Wings of Gold" and became a FA-18 fighter pilot for VFA-22.  (Callsign "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha" but I go by "Marsha" for short.)  I served active duty for ten years in the Navy, having flown combat missions over Iraq and Afghanistan and flying as a demonstration pilot for the Navy's newest jet, the SuperHonet.  After leaving active service in 2005 I took employment with a local defense contractor as a project manager.

So I am often asked how anything compares to flying fighter.  Well, to be honest with you, nothing compares to making lasting memories.  That is why I love taking pictures and creating something that will be treasured for years to come. I truly believe that anyone can take a picture.  But it takes work and know-how to create memories.  We only have so much time in our life and I don't want my kids to grow up without capturing special moments. I'm sure you feel the same way.  If you have a special moment that you would like to capture, I would love to help you.
